Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She also has produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother, who also loved watching movies. Paula was a participant in co-curricular activities at school and enjoyed drama. She played with her classmates and was a part of the school's plays. She was a part of numerous productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as her career. As a student in a summer camp offered by the University of Southern California, she had a blast there. She was assigned a 3 month assignment to make documentary films for PBS. The first assignment was to be a production assist for TV documentaries following her successful completion of the assignment. Next, she was going to produce documentaries. She loved her work but was determined to be an actor. Her acting debut came with a small role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in numerous films as well as TV series.
